What made you take the leap in entrepreneurship?
I have always loved to take things into my own hands and be the sole responsible person in charge of my destiny. I also have a difficult relationship with authority and rules, so I like to create my own 🙂
What’s your favorite part about being your own boss?
The freedom of creating your own schedule. Becoming a bad-ass business woman who is limitless. Challenging myself to educate and step up my game constantly to stay relevant in the industry.
Do you have any work philosophies that drive your business?
I am loyal and forever grateful for anyone who has helped me along the way, believed in me and pushed outside my comfort zone. I wouldn’t have been able to do what I do today without the incredible support of my community, and I wouldn’t be who I am without all the “lessons” learned.
I am 200% authentic and just.
I am unapologetically myself.
I will never comprise my integrity or relationships for a better deal. I also wear my heart on my sleeve.
What does “bringing breath to business” mean for you and your brand?
Creating balance, being a hustler and workaholic is cool and praised here, but what about pausing to enjoy the day and reconnecting to the true values of life. Enjoy La Dolce Vita: Create a life for yourself where you feel free to say no when it just doesn’t feel right.
Fill your cup with simple self-care practices (walks in nature, physically grounding, rest) to be able to pour out to others.
What’s your biggest tip for social media success?
Authenticity, Beautiful content, consistency and staying approachable.
Engage with whomever supports you, no one is “too cool for school” for not following back a person/student/client they know and whom supports them nonstop.
What would be the one piece of advice you’d give to someone working to “find their passion or purpose”/piece of advice you’d give to someone working on building a brand/business?
Be clear about your why, what’s your purpose, define your identity and the identify your visual identity. Elevate, keep on going, it’s happening, you are doing it!
